{"id":3137,"date":"2022-01-18T21:34:08","date_gmt":"2022-01-18T20:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.enerkon.hr\/eng\/?p=3137"},"modified":"2022-01-20T22:51:52","modified_gmt":"2022-01-20T21:51:52","slug":"biogas-plant-in-cerna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.enerkon.hr\/eng\/biogas-plant-in-cerna\/","title":{"rendered":"Biogas plant in Cerna"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-3137\"  class=\"panel-layout\" ><div id=\"pg-3137-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div class=\"panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-3137-0\" ><div id=\"pgc-3137-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-3137-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"0\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>Project title: Biogas cogeneration \"Biogas plant Cerna 1 MWel\"<br \/>\nInvestor: ENERGANA CERNA d.o.o.<br \/>\nLocation: Cerna, Croatia<br \/>\nConstruction completion: 2021.<\/p>\n<h4>Project description<\/h4>\n<p>Reasons for investing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Simultaneous production of electricity and heat from renewable energy sources;<\/li>\n<li>Disposal of manure and other by-products from agricultural production used together with corn silage as an energy source;<\/li>\n<li>Active participation in sustainable development of rural areas;<\/li>\n<li>Enrichment and increase of soil quality by application of digestate (nitrogen mineralization, humus renewal);<\/li>\n<li>Diversification of electricity sources and increasing Croatia\u2019s energy independence;<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the share of renewable energy sources in electricity production (CO2 neutrality);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The production of biogas or electricity and heat from various forms of biomass in biogas plants is an example of a complete and sustainable, environmentally friendly way of energy management.<\/p>\n<p>Various forms of biomass (corn silage and silage of other energy plants, content of fats, slurry, whey, molasses, etc.) are used as energy source, which, through process of anaerobic fermentation, produces biogas that is used as fuel in a biogas engine to produce electricity and heat.
